IPC power supply is an indispensable accessory in IPC components. At present, there are many brands of IPC power supply on the market. In addition to different brands, power supplies are also classified into models and specifications. Do you understand? Generally, industrial computer power supply can be divided into three categories: AT power supply, ATX power supply, and MicroATX power supply. What are the specific differences between these three types?
1. MicroATX power supply
The MicroATX power supply for industrial computer is a new standard power supply obtained by improving the incoming line of ATX power supply in order to reduce the cost.
In general, which type or specification of power supply is required depends on the needs of the industrial control motherboard and the size of the industrial computer chassis. When purchasing an IPC, not only the type of IPC power supply, but also its power selection is very important. Too much power will be wasteful, but if the power is relatively small, it will not be able to bring the IPC. When selecting the power supply of the industrial computer, the selection is mainly based on other accessories of the industrial computer.
2. ATX power supply
Unlike the AT power supply, the ATX power supply of the industrial computer has made some changes in the internal structure. It will not be completely powered off when it is turned off, but will be maintained at a very small current. Don’t underestimate this weak power supply. The operating system controls the shutdown.
Note: Soft shutdown refers to an operation process in which the computer needs to temporarily exit the operating system with the power turned on due to certain needs when the system is running. Generally, the shutdown without cutting off the power is called soft shutdown, including restart.
3. AT power supply
The industrial computer AT power supply is generally used on the early motherboard, with a power of 150-220W, the output shares four channels (±5V and ±12V), and provides a PG signal to the motherboard. The output lines are two 6-pin sockets and multiple 4-pin plugs, and the two-pin sockets supply power to the motherboard. AT has now been phased out.
We are looking forward to serving you!
